The last two decades of economic growth in the region have also generated a population increase of more than 100 million people, according to figures from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). This population increase has had, without a doubt, a direct impact on large cities, some of which are among the most populated worldwide (Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Bogota, Lima ...).
With this reality in mind, the Latam Mobility Summit has established itself as the main discussion forum in the field of mobility for the main executives of the region. Investment in infrastructure, improvement of public transport conditions, technological innovation, electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, road safety, mobile applications, ... all these elements and many more will be the basis of an agenda that will have more than 100 local and international speakers, who will debate during two intense days about the future of mobility in the region. Coordinated by 10 strategic advisors with extensive experience in the industry, the speakers and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss in detail about measures of real impact in the current mobility conditions in the region.
The main representatives of the public sector and the main private sector organizations have confirmed their participation in an event that in its first edition was sold out, solid proof that the field of mobility is an important element in the development of Latin America and in the quality of life of its citizens. But it has also been a key element in the electoral debate of the countries that have experienced processes of change of government in the past months (Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica ...)
The innovative environment that surrounds the sector will not go unnoticed during the days of the Latam Mobility Summit. Thus, the organization will dedicate a space for entrepreneurs active in the mobility sector in which it will seek to identify innovative projects that contribute to improve the quality of life of a population that suffers directly the impacts of road congestion throughout the region.
